Awareness in itself is healing. (F.Perls)

Can you imagine a space that gives the answers you are longing for? A place with so much hidden knowledge yet full of meaning? What if that place is within yourself?

Own Path

I am Adina (she/her) and since September 2021 I’m following the Gestalt Counsellor/Therapist training with the Gestalt Therapy Institute in The Netherlands. My first professional specialisation is in the area of digital cultural heritage. This path was guided by my love for words, books and inclusive educational spaces – in particular libraries. With the current learning experience I am expanding my focus and area of experitise to the actual relational aspect of human interactions. I am fascinated by the capacity of the human body to express and metabolise the daily life experiences and I am always in awe of young children’s curiosity and their contact with adults, their caregivers and the world around them. This has led me to follow trainings on yoga philosophy, adjusting and applying its teachings to children or to those that have suffered traumatic brain injury.

What I learned so far is that the same as libraries hold valuable resources when properly accessed add value to specific research, the human mind holds opportunities to unlock new perspectives and empower new approaches in life.

Currently, guided by the Gestalt counselling/therapy principles and practices of embodied relational awareness and inclusive dialogue in the present moment, I am offering counselling support to those looking to overcome challenging emotional experiences. To me change happens when there is space for committed presence that allows new layers of awareness to emerge, in the here and now.
